   Adam Johnson, former NHL player, dead at 29 due to "freak accident" on October 28th. He had suffered a skate cut during a Champions Cup game playing for the Nottingham Panthers in England, playing against the Sheffield Steelers.

 

    "Adam, our number 47, was not only an outstanding ice hockey player, but also a great teammate and an incredible person with his whole life ahead of him. The Club will dearly miss him and will never ever forget him."

   Adam Johnson also played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, playing in 13 games between 2018-2020 seasons. The Penguins also have mourned the player and honored him after his tragic death. The Penguins made posts on social media for their game, October 30th, about wearing special decals on their helmets to honor and remember Adam Johnson.
