Penguins Secure 2nd Straight Victory Against Flyers

  After dropping the first three games to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Pittsburgh Penguins are officially making things interesting. The Penguins secured their second straight victory in Game 5 on Monday at PPG Paints Arena, defeating the Flyers in a nail-biting 3-2 win to keep their season alive. Sidney Crosby fueled the comeback with a pair of assists, while Elmer Soderblom, Connor Dewar, and Kris Letang each found the back of the net. Following a 4-2 win in Game 4, Pittsburgh has now cut the series lead to 3-2 and will look to force a decisive Game 7 when they travel back to Philadelphia on Wednesday. Bruins Win 3-0 Against the Sharks, 11/30/23

   The Bruins defeated the Sharks with a 3-0 score on Thursday, November 30th. They were in a 3-game losing streak, finally bouncing back against the Sharks.

   First period, there were no goals.

 

   Danton Heinen scores the first goal of the game in second, putting the Bruins in the lead 1-0. Jake DeBrusk scores, the final score of second period being 2-0.


   Pavel Zacha scores in third, the final score being 3-0!



"I think we started feeling more comfortable with the line as the game went on and started to read off each other, supported each other, so it was a good start for us," Brad Marchand said. "The more you communicate, the more you support each other, the better you're gonna be."
