Patrick Kane Returns to Chicago, Two-Year Deal

  On Thursday, the Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with former star forward Patrick Kane on a two-year, $16 million contract that includes a no-move clause. Patrick Kane played the first of his 19 NHL seasons with Chicago, winning the Stanley Cup three times in Chicago in 2010, 2013, and 2015. He has made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs 11 times in his career, earning 138 points (53 goals, 85 assists) in 143 postseason games. Kane ranks third in franchise history in assists (80), points (132), and games played (136), and ranks fourth in goals (52). Last season with the Detroit Red Wings, the 37-year-old forward had 57 points (16 goals, 41 assists) in 67 games. He finished fourth on the Red Wings with 16 goals and 41 assists, ranking fifth with 57 points. Kane is one of two active NHL players (Alex Ovechkin) to secure 40-or-more points in each of the last 19 seasons and is one of just 19 players to do so in NHL history. Devils 4-3 Win Against Columbus! 12/27/23

 






   The Devils played in Jersey against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday, December 27th. Tie after tie, the Devils won with a 4-3 score. A great game after Christmas break!

   Jake Bean starts off the game, Ondrej Palat scores and ties the game not long after Jake Bean's goal! The final score of first period being 1-1.


   Justin Danforth breaks the tie! That being the only goal in second period, final score being 2-1.


   Dawson Mercer ties the game close to the end of third! Yegor Chinakhov breaks the tie.. LUUUUKKKKKKEEEEEE HUGHES SCORES AND TIES THE GAME 3-3! The Devils and Columbus head into overtime.


   Timo Meier wins it at 2:50 in overtime!
