Penguins Secure 2nd Straight Victory Against Flyers

  After dropping the first three games to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Pittsburgh Penguins are officially making things interesting. The Penguins secured their second straight victory in Game 5 on Monday at PPG Paints Arena, defeating the Flyers in a nail-biting 3-2 win to keep their season alive. Sidney Crosby fueled the comeback with a pair of assists, while Elmer Soderblom, Connor Dewar, and Kris Letang each found the back of the net. Following a 4-2 win in Game 4, Pittsburgh has now cut the series lead to 3-2 and will look to force a decisive Game 7 when they travel back to Philadelphia on Wednesday. Jason Robertson Spreading Holiday Cheer!

 




   Jason Robertson, Dallas Stars forward, hosted a toy drive to help sick children at Children's Health.

 

   Fans were able to participate by donating unused toys still in their original packaging from the second of December to the 11th. Robertson went to Children's Health in Dallas to deliver the toys and gifts.

   He was able to spread holiday cheer with more than double the amount of gifts than he had last year when he hosted the toy drive.

"I'm excited to bring back the Toy Drive and build on what we accomplished last year," said Robertson. "The holiday season is such a special time of the year for family, celebration and giving, and it means a lot to me to be able to bring a little extra joy to kids in our community."
