Patrick Kane Returns to Chicago, Two-Year Deal

  On Thursday, the Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with former star forward Patrick Kane on a two-year, $16 million contract that includes a no-move clause. Patrick Kane played the first of his 19 NHL seasons with Chicago, winning the Stanley Cup three times in Chicago in 2010, 2013, and 2015. He has made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs 11 times in his career, earning 138 points (53 goals, 85 assists) in 143 postseason games. Kane ranks third in franchise history in assists (80), points (132), and games played (136), and ranks fourth in goals (52). Last season with the Detroit Red Wings, the 37-year-old forward had 57 points (16 goals, 41 assists) in 67 games. He finished fourth on the Red Wings with 16 goals and 41 assists, ranking fifth with 57 points. Kane is one of two active NHL players (Alex Ovechkin) to secure 40-or-more points in each of the last 19 seasons and is one of just 19 players to do so in NHL history. Lightning Wins Against The Oilers! 12/14/23

 






Wow.. What a eventful night the Lightning had in Edmonton!



   The Tampa Bay Lightning played against the Oilers in Edmonton on Thursday, December 14th. It was a very eventful game with Steven Stamkos completing a hat trick to a 7-4 score!

   Steven Stamkos scores the first goal of the game for the Lightning! Tyler Motte scores not too long later, the final score of first period being 2-0.


   Darnell Nurse scores the first goal for the Oilers, Connor McDavid scores and ties the game 2-2 until Zach Hyman scores and the Oilers now take the lead! 3-2 being the final score for second period.


   Steven Stamkos scores again and ties the game 3-3! Nikita Kucherov scores soon after Stamkos, getting the Lightning back on top. Steven Stamkos back at it again and getting a hatty!! Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scores for the Oilers, that being the final goal from the Oilers for the rest of the night.. Anthony Cirelli scores, Steven Stamkos scoring his 4th goal of the game soon after! 7-4 being the final score in third period.
