Penguins Secure 2nd Straight Victory Against Flyers

  After dropping the first three games to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Pittsburgh Penguins are officially making things interesting. The Penguins secured their second straight victory in Game 5 on Monday at PPG Paints Arena, defeating the Flyers in a nail-biting 3-2 win to keep their season alive. Sidney Crosby fueled the comeback with a pair of assists, while Elmer Soderblom, Connor Dewar, and Kris Letang each found the back of the net. Following a 4-2 win in Game 4, Pittsburgh has now cut the series lead to 3-2 and will look to force a decisive Game 7 when they travel back to Philadelphia on Wednesday. Tampa Bay Lightning Beats St. Louis! 6-1, 12/19/23

 






   The Tampa Bay Lightning played against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday, December 19th. The Bolts won with a 6-1 score!

   Nikita Kucherov scores a minute after second period started, the score being 4-0. Haydn Fleury scores a little later, the final score of second period being 5-0.


   Nick Paul scores the final goal for Tampa, Justin Faulk scores near the end of third - that being the only goal St. Louis gets for the night. The final score being 6-1!
