Blackhawks 2-1 9-Round Shootout Win Against San Jose, 1/16/24

   The Sharks played against the Blackhawks in Chicago on Tuesday, January 16th. It was a tough game for both teams as they went into a 9-round shootout, eventually, the Blackhawks got the win. However, it was a great win for the Hawks!

   Cole Guttman scored the first goal of the game with his fourth of the season - Hawks lead by one. Guttman being the only one who scored, 1-0 was the final score of the first period.


   The Blackhawks held their one-goal lead all the way through the middle frame, 1-0.


   Ryan Carpenter ties up the game in the third period with his second goal of the season - 14:47 remaining in the final frame. The Sharks and Blackhawks hold that tie for the remainder of the third period, now heading into overtime.


   Overtime wasn't enough - went to a shootout.
