Kadirova, Elridge Each Score Two, Torrent Falls 4-3 To Charge

  Photo via Seattle Torrent/PWHL The Torrent suffered their fourth straight loss when they took on the Ottawa Charge on Wednesday at TD Place, losing 4-3. Seattle came alive in the second period behind two goals from Jessie Eldridge. Alex Carpenter, who made history scoring the first-ever penalty shot goal in PWHL history, tied the game before Ottawa took the lead back with little time to play. Fanuza Kadirova found the back of the net twice for the Charge. Alexa Vasko and Emily Clark also scored to help secure the victory. The Torrent will look to regroup before hosting the Boston Fleet on March 11, while the Charge travel to the Prudential Center on Sunday for a showdown with the New York Sirens. Dallas Stars Win 7-2 Against The Minnesota Wild, 1/10/24

   The Wild played against the Stars in Dallas on Wednesday, January 10th. The Stars won with an amazing 7-2 score, this being their second win in a row against Minnesota. They played the Wild on January 8th, winning with a 4-0.

   Jason Robertson scored the first goal - it was challenged by Minnesota and turned out to be offsides, no goal. However, it was a BEAUTIFUL shot. Joe Pavelski scores late in the first frame - 1-0 being the final of the first period.


   Matt Duchene scores the second for the Stars, 15:32 remaining in the second period. Roope Hintz nets one late in the second period - 3-0 being the final score.


   Matt Boldy scored his fourteenth of the season and the first goal for the Wild. Jason Robertson (Robo!!) gets back at the Wild, now having 275 points in game 250. Nils Lundkvist soon after Robertson, this being his first goal. Ryan Hartman scores not long after Lundkvist. Tyler Seguin scores his sixth goal in six games! Sam Steel nets one near the end of third - 7-2 being the final score.
