Penguins Secure 2nd Straight Victory Against Flyers

  After dropping the first three games to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Pittsburgh Penguins are officially making things interesting. The Penguins secured their second straight victory in Game 5 on Monday at PPG Paints Arena, defeating the Flyers in a nail-biting 3-2 win to keep their season alive. Sidney Crosby fueled the comeback with a pair of assists, while Elmer Soderblom, Connor Dewar, and Kris Letang each found the back of the net. Following a 4-2 win in Game 4, Pittsburgh has now cut the series lead to 3-2 and will look to force a decisive Game 7 when they travel back to Philadelphia on Wednesday. Devils Win In Washington 6-3, 1/3/24







   The Devils went to Washington and took the W on Wednesday, January 3rd. After a loss before the new year, they made a great come back with a 6-3 score against the Capitals.

   The Devils take the lead right away, Nico Hischier scoring the first. Nico Hischier scores ANTOHER! Connor McMichael scores the first goal for the Capitals near the end of the period - the final score being 2-1.


   Dawson Mercer scores, making sure the Devils stay in the lead. Evgeny Kuznetsov nets one, the Capitals now having two goals. John Carlson ties up the game, but Michael McLeod gives back the Devils the lead!


   Dawson Mercer gets another goal, two for his 200th. Michael McLeod yet again with another goal! The final score being 6-3.
