Kings Lose To The Dallas Stars 5-1, 1/16/24

   The Kings played against the Stars in Dallas on Tuesday, January 16th. The Stars defeated the Kings with a 5-1 score! It was a great win for the Stars after their loss against the Predators before they beat the Blackhawks.

   Roope Hintz scores the first goal of the game with his 18th of the season, putting the Stars in the lead. Evgenii Dadonov nets one, this being his 10th goal of the season! The final score of the first period was 2-0.


   Drew Doughty scored the first and only goal for the Kings. Doughty's goal was the only one in the middle frame, the final score was 2-1.


   Wyatt Johnston strikes his 12th of the season! Joe Pavelski nets one soon after Johnston, and the Stars lead by three. Sam Steel scores the fifth goal of the game and his fifth of the season! The final score overall was 5-1.



"Feels good - It's a good confidence booster, it's good to help chip in. Obviously, that's the number one thing, just trying to do your part - help chip in whenever you can. It feels good when you're able to do that." Wyatt Johnston spoke after the game about his goal and the Stars 5-1 win against the Kings.
