Patrick Kane Returns to Chicago, Two-Year Deal

  On Thursday, the Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with former star forward Patrick Kane on a two-year, $16 million contract that includes a no-move clause. Patrick Kane played the first of his 19 NHL seasons with Chicago, winning the Stanley Cup three times in Chicago in 2010, 2013, and 2015. He has made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs 11 times in his career, earning 138 points (53 goals, 85 assists) in 143 postseason games. Kane ranks third in franchise history in assists (80), points (132), and games played (136), and ranks fourth in goals (52). Last season with the Detroit Red Wings, the 37-year-old forward had 57 points (16 goals, 41 assists) in 67 games. He finished fourth on the Red Wings with 16 goals and 41 assists, ranking fifth with 57 points. Kraken Defeats The Senators 4-1, 1/4/24

   The Kraken defeated the Senators in Seattle on Thursday, January 4th. The Kraken having a 10 game point streak, this was a great win for them!

   Yanni Gourde starts the Kraken off in first - goals in back-to-back games for Gourde! This being the only goal in first period, 1-0.


   Tomas Tatar gets Seattle in a two goal lead, Andre Burakovsky scoring soon after making it a 3-0 score! The final score of second period being 3-0.


   Parker Kelly scores the first and only goal for the Senators a bit later into third period. Vince Dunn scores an empty-netter, making the final score 4-1!
