Penguins Secure 2nd Straight Victory Against Flyers

  After dropping the first three games to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Pittsburgh Penguins are officially making things interesting. The Penguins secured their second straight victory in Game 5 on Monday at PPG Paints Arena, defeating the Flyers in a nail-biting 3-2 win to keep their season alive. Sidney Crosby fueled the comeback with a pair of assists, while Elmer Soderblom, Connor Dewar, and Kris Letang each found the back of the net. Following a 4-2 win in Game 4, Pittsburgh has now cut the series lead to 3-2 and will look to force a decisive Game 7 when they travel back to Philadelphia on Wednesday. Kraken Defeats The Senators 4-1, 1/4/24

   The Kraken defeated the Senators in Seattle on Thursday, January 4th. The Kraken having a 10 game point streak, this was a great win for them!


Kraken lineup against the Senators:

   Yanni Gourde starts the Kraken off in first - goals in back-to-back games for Gourde! This being the only goal in first period, 1-0.


   Tomas Tatar gets Seattle in a two goal lead, Andre Burakovsky scoring soon after making it a 3-0 score! The final score of second period being 3-0.


   Parker Kelly scores the first and only goal for the Senators a bit later into third period. Vince Dunn scores an empty-netter, making the final score 4-1!
