Kraken Wins 5-2 In Buffalo, 1/9/24

   The Kraken played against the Sabres in Buffalo on Tuesday, January 9th. Seattle won with a 5-2 score - this being the 7th game they've won in a row and an 11-game point streak!

   Jeff Skinner nets one, getting the Sabres in the lead by one. Yanni Gourde answers back, tying up the game with his seventh goal of the season and this being his third goal in three straight games. Vince Dunn gets Seattle in the lead with 1:10 remaining in the first frame! The final score of the first period was 2-1.


   Alex Tuch ties the game back up early in the second period, 2-2. Alex Wennberg nets one, getting the Kraken back in the lead - Jaden Schwartz scores, the Kraken now in a two-goal lead. Matty Beniers scores his sixth goal of the season - this actually being the last goal of the game, the third period completely scoreless. The final score was 5-2.



"We got to keep pushing forward. I thought we did that at times, but nowhere near as consistent enough as we should have." Alex Tuch said, speaking about the Sabres loss against the Kraken.
