Penguins 4-1 Win In Philadelphia, 1/8/24

   The Penguins played against the Flyers in Philadelphia on Monday, January 8th. Pittsburgh won with a 4-1 score after an unfortunate loss against the Sabres on Saturday.

   Rickard Rakell scores a power-play goal just 45 seconds into first - Rakell now has a four-game point streak, also having points in eight out of nine past Penguins games. Erik Karlsson scores the second for Pittsburgh, now in a two-goal lead with 12:23 left in the period. Karlsson also has a four-game point streak! Owen Tippett scores the first and only goal for the Flyers - 2-1 being the final score of the first period.


   Chad Ruhwedel scores his first of the season, with 11:53 remaining in the second. This was the only goal the whole second frame, 3-1.


   Evgeni Malkin scores his 15th of the season! The Penguins win with a 4-1 score.



"They got a lot of skilled guys over there," Carter Hart said. "They were seeing the ice a lot and getting a lot of touches - I'm sure they're feeling good with their game."
