Philadelphia Flyers Win 3-2 In Shootout Against The Canadiens, 1/10/24

   The Montreal Canadiens played against the Flyers in Philadelphia on Wednesday, January 10th. After the Canadiens were in the lead to a tie, they went into overtime, and still nothing until the shootout! The Flyers won with a 3-2 score.

   Sean Monahan strikes first for Montreal, this being his eleventh goal of the season. David Savard gets the Canadiens in a two-goal lead, scoring his fourth of the season. Owen Tippett scores late in the first period, cutting the lead - 2-1 being the final score.


   Morgan Frost ties it up, and Jamie Drysdale gets his first point as a Flyer with an assist on the goal! 2-2 was the final score of the second period.


   The third period was completely scoreless, same with overtime - heading into the shootout.

   Sean Couturier scored the only goal in the shootout and the Flyers won with a 3-2 score. This is a good win for the Flyers since they lost their last game, 4-1 against the Penguins, on January 8th.
