Patrick Kane Returns to Chicago, Two-Year Deal

  On Thursday, the Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with former star forward Patrick Kane on a two-year, $16 million contract that includes a no-move clause. Patrick Kane played the first of his 19 NHL seasons with Chicago, winning the Stanley Cup three times in Chicago in 2010, 2013, and 2015. He has made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs 11 times in his career, earning 138 points (53 goals, 85 assists) in 143 postseason games. Kane ranks third in franchise history in assists (80), points (132), and games played (136), and ranks fourth in goals (52). Last season with the Detroit Red Wings, the 37-year-old forward had 57 points (16 goals, 41 assists) in 67 games. He finished fourth on the Red Wings with 16 goals and 41 assists, ranking fifth with 57 points. Kane is one of two active NHL players (Alex Ovechkin) to secure 40-or-more points in each of the last 19 seasons and is one of just 19 players to do so in NHL history. Rangers Win 4-1 Against The Blackhawks In NY 1/4/24

   The Blackhawks played in New York on Thursday, January 4th. The Rangers defeated the Blackhawks with a 4-1 score.

   The Rangers strike first - Artemi Panarin scores the first goal. Panarin's goal being the only goal in first period, 1-0.


   Chris Kreider scores, the Rangers leading by two. Colin Blackwell scores the first and unfortunately, the only goal for the Blackhawks - The final score of second period being 2-1.

 

   Jacob Trouba nets one, Jimmy Vesey scoring after! Final score being 4-1.
