Stars VS Avalanche 5-4. 1/4/24

   The Stars played against the Avalanche in Dallas on Thursday, January 4th. The Stars fall to Colorado with a 5-4 score in overtime.


Stars lineup against the Avalanche:

   Evgenii Dadonov scores the first goal for the Stars! Nathan MacKinnon ties it up - the final score of the first period being 1-1.


   Tyler Seguin breaks the tie and gets the Stars back in the lead. Joe Pavelski scores, the Stars having a two goal lead! Jonathan Drouin cuts the Stars' lead, 3-2 being the final score for second period.


   Tyler Seguin nets another, Jonathan Drouin also getting his second of the night. Mikko Rantanen ties it up with one minute left - final score of third being 4-4, going into overtime.


   Nathan MacKinnon wins it in overtime! The final score being 5-4.



Joe Pavelski on the Stars making great comebacks this year: "There's a lot of skill and there's a lot of playmaking - up and down the team. You've seen it, we've done it, we've seen other teams do it - That's why the league's exciting the way it is right now."
