Patrick Kane Returns to Chicago, Two-Year Deal

  On Thursday, the Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with former star forward Patrick Kane on a two-year, $16 million contract that includes a no-move clause. Patrick Kane played the first of his 19 NHL seasons with Chicago, winning the Stanley Cup three times in Chicago in 2010, 2013, and 2015. He has made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs 11 times in his career, earning 138 points (53 goals, 85 assists) in 143 postseason games. Kane ranks third in franchise history in assists (80), points (132), and games played (136), and ranks fourth in goals (52). Last season with the Detroit Red Wings, the 37-year-old forward had 57 points (16 goals, 41 assists) in 67 games. He finished fourth on the Red Wings with 16 goals and 41 assists, ranking fifth with 57 points. Kane is one of two active NHL players (Alex Ovechkin) to secure 40-or-more points in each of the last 19 seasons and is one of just 19 players to do so in NHL history. Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1 Win Against Anaheim, 1/13/24







   The Ducks played against the Lightning in Tampa Bay on Saturday, January 13th. The Ducks had a bad loss to the Lightning, 5-1.

   Victor Hedman strikes first for the Lightning! Steven Stamkos gets one in - Frank Vatrano scores the one and only goal for the Ducks soon after. Stamkos nets another! 3-1 was the final score of the second period.


   Calvin de HAAN scores with 10:54 remaining in the third period. Brandon Hagel scored his 13th of the season and the last goal of the game - 5-1 was the final overall score.



"I think everyone's been on the same page. It's been fun, winning is fun - We can build off this, and it's nice to have a few days here as well." Calvin de HAAN said, talking about the Lightning win and their break.
