Penguins Secure 2nd Straight Victory Against Flyers

  After dropping the first three games to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Pittsburgh Penguins are officially making things interesting. The Penguins secured their second straight victory in Game 5 on Monday at PPG Paints Arena, defeating the Flyers in a nail-biting 3-2 win to keep their season alive. Sidney Crosby fueled the comeback with a pair of assists, while Elmer Soderblom, Connor Dewar, and Kris Letang each found the back of the net. Following a 4-2 win in Game 4, Pittsburgh has now cut the series lead to 3-2 and will look to force a decisive Game 7 when they travel back to Philadelphia on Wednesday. Tampa Bay Lightning 5-1 Win Against Anaheim, 1/13/24







   The Ducks played against the Lightning in Tampa Bay on Saturday, January 13th. The Ducks had a bad loss to the Lightning, 5-1.

   Victor Hedman strikes first for the Lightning! Steven Stamkos gets one in - Frank Vatrano scores the one and only goal for the Ducks soon after. Stamkos nets another! 3-1 was the final score of the second period.


   Calvin de HAAN scores with 10:54 remaining in the third period. Brandon Hagel scored his 13th of the season and the last goal of the game - 5-1 was the final overall score.



"I think everyone's been on the same page. It's been fun, winning is fun - We can build off this, and it's nice to have a few days here as well." Calvin de HAAN said, talking about the Lightning win and their break.
