Penguins Secure 2nd Straight Victory Against Flyers

  After dropping the first three games to the Philadelphia Flyers, the Pittsburgh Penguins are officially making things interesting. The Penguins secured their second straight victory in Game 5 on Monday at PPG Paints Arena, defeating the Flyers in a nail-biting 3-2 win to keep their season alive. Sidney Crosby fueled the comeback with a pair of assists, while Elmer Soderblom, Connor Dewar, and Kris Letang each found the back of the net. Following a 4-2 win in Game 4, Pittsburgh has now cut the series lead to 3-2 and will look to force a decisive Game 7 when they travel back to Philadelphia on Wednesday. Tampa Bay Lightning VS Winnipeg Jets 4-2, 1/2/24

 






   The Lightning played against the Jets on Tuesday, January 2nd. The Jets won with a 4-2 score.

   Neal Pionk ties it up in second, Alex Iafallo scores and gets the Jets in the lead by one goal. The final score of second period being 2-1.


   Nikolaj Ehlers scores, the Jets now in the lead by two goals. Morgan Barron scores an empty-netter! The Lightning gets one back, Nikita Kucherov scores with only seconds left in third. The final score being 4-2.
