Patrick Kane Returns to Chicago, Two-Year Deal

  On Thursday, the Chicago Blackhawks agreed to terms with former star forward Patrick Kane on a two-year, $16 million contract that includes a no-move clause. Patrick Kane played the first of his 19 NHL seasons with Chicago, winning the Stanley Cup three times in Chicago in 2010, 2013, and 2015. He has made it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs 11 times in his career, earning 138 points (53 goals, 85 assists) in 143 postseason games. Kane ranks third in franchise history in assists (80), points (132), and games played (136), and ranks fourth in goals (52). Last season with the Detroit Red Wings, the 37-year-old forward had 57 points (16 goals, 41 assists) in 67 games. He finished fourth on the Red Wings with 16 goals and 41 assists, ranking fifth with 57 points. Kane is one of two active NHL players (Alex Ovechkin) to secure 40-or-more points in each of the last 19 seasons and is one of just 19 players to do so in NHL history. New Jersey Devils Sign Isaac Poulter to an Entry-Level Deal, 2/15/24

 





   The Devils announced just today that they have signed 22-year-old goaltender, Isaac Poulter, to a two-year entry level deal with an average value of $812,500 (annual). The contract would be starting this 2023-24 season, also including 2024-25. Poulter will remain with the Utica Comets. 

   Isaac Poulter joined the organization in June of 2022, signing a two-way AHL deal and splitting time in 2022-23 between New Jersey's ECHL affiliate in Adirondack and Utica... Poulter is one of the nine AHL goalies who earned three or more shutouts this season.
