The St. Louis Blues beat the Montreal Canadiens with a 7-2 score on Sunday, February 11th. The Blues' 7-2 win marks the first time they have scored six or more goals in Montreal since January 25th, 1997. Torey Krug recorded five assists in the St. Louis Blues 7-2 win.

Just 25 seconds into the first period, Alexey Toropchenko gave St. Louis a 1-0 lead. Toropchenko grabbed up the puck in the neutral zone, drove down the right side, and then pulled the puck back between his legs to deke around Jayden Struble... Toropchenko cut across the crease and put the puck around Jake Allen's right pad. Brayden Schenn redirected Colton Parayko's slap shot from the point and right past Allen. Scoring the first goal for Montreal, Nick Suzuki struck his 17th goal of the season to cut the lead. Juraj Slafkovsky sent a cross-ice pass to Suzuki, who scored a one-timer from the bottom of the left circle. Jordan Kyrou put St. Louis up 3-1 at 4:40. Kyrou scored on the power play with a rebound of Robert Thomas' shot from the point.

Nathan Walker scored a snap shot late into the second period. Walker put one in the net from the right circle to push it 4-1. Walker's goal was the only goal scored in the middle frame.

Only 31 seconds into the final frame, Robert Thomas struck his 18th goal of the season on the power play. David Savard net one, being the only other goal by the Canadiens. Savard scored with a wrist shot from the slot that deflected off of Joel Armia. Making it a 6-2 lead for St. Louis, Jake Neighbours scored on the power play. Neighbours put in a rebound off Torey Krug's wrist shot coming from the left point. Jordan Kyrou scored his second of the night and the 17th of the season to make it a 7-2 game. Kyrou shot a wrist shot from the slot that had gone over the net, but it ended up bouncing in off Jake Allen's skate after hitting the end boards.

Notes:

- Thomas Kyrou had a goal and three assists... Jordan Kyrou scored two goals

- Jordan Binnington made 30 saves for St. Louis

- Jake Allen made 29 saves for Montreal

- Nick Suzuki extended his point streak to seven games (five goals, six assists)

- Cole Caufield's NHL career-high 11-game point streak was put to an end (six goals, eight assists)

- After getting boarded by Sammy Blais, Jordan Harris did not return for the remainder of the game... out day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

- Kaiden Guhle left the game in the third period after getting hit by Marco Scandella.

- Rafael Harvey-Pinard was placed on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury he had sustained in a collision with Joel Armia.
