J.T. Miller, Joel Eriksson Ek, and Kirill Kaprizov all scored hat tricks on Monday, February 19th. The Canucks were in the lead until the Wild scored six goals in a 5:45 range... Minnesota became the fourth-fastest team to have scored that many in NHL history. The Montreal Canadiens hold the record for scoring six goals in a 4:24 span on December 6th, 1982 against the Hartford Whalers. Both Eriksson Ek and Kaprizov are tied for the record for the most points in a game in Minnesota Wild history... Marian Gaborik had been the only player for the Wild to do so.

Ian Cole opened the scoring at 17:09 of the first period, getting his second goal of the season. Cole scored from the right face-off circle with a wrist shot that went past a screened Filip Gustavsson. Extending the lead to 2-0, J.T. Miller scored on a rebound to get his 25th of the season. Joel Eriksson Ek cut it 2-1 later into the period after he deflected Matt Boldy's pass in the slot.

Elias Pettersson pushed it 3-1 to keep the lead for Vancouver early into the second period at 14:23. Only a few minutes later, J.T. Miller scored his second of the game and his 26th of the season on the power play. Scoring the second goal for Minnesota, Matt Boldy recorded his 20th goal of the season on a breakaway to put it at 4-2. Miller completed his third career hat trick at 5:30 of the middle frame. At 32.1, Mats Zuccarello scored during a 5-on-3 power play to get the Wild to 5-3 before the third.

Only 29 seconds into the third period, Joel Eriksson Ek cut it to 5-4 with his second goal of the game. Mats Zuccarello passed the puck to Eriksson Ek, who tipped it in during another 5-on-3. Kirill Kaprizov tied it at 5-5 with the Wild's third straight 5-on-3 power-play goal... Only 21 seconds later, Eriksson Ek completed his hat trick during the 5-on-4 to give Minnesota the lead and got his second career hat trick. At 15:13, Marco Rossi scored his 15th goal of the season when he deflected it in off a shot by Jake Lucchini... Matt Boldy fed Kaprizov in the slot, making it 8-5 very soon after Rossi's goal. Making it 8-6, Nikita Zadorov scored from the left circle with a wrist shot... 2:08 remaining, Brock Boeser cut it 8-7. Each scored empty-netters, Jonas Brodin scored his fourth of the season and Kirill Kaprizov completed his hat trick for a 10-7 final.

Matt Boldy on the team's big 10-7 win against the Canucks: "Nothing out of the ordinary. Obviously going out there with a power play... five-on-three is nice and able to get one early, get on the power play again, and back on five-on-three. It's nice and things are going well. The guys are finding each other and getting the spots to score goals. That was kind of the emphasis - taking advantage of the power play."

Notes:

- Matt Boldy and Mats Zuccarello both had a goal and recorded three assists.

- Pius Suter recorded three assists... Elias Lindholm had an assist and six points in eight games (four goals, two assists). Lindholm also played his 800th NHL career game.

- Filip Gustavsson made 11 saves on 16 shots in two periods, Marc-Andre Fleury allowed two on eight in the third.

- Casey DeSmith made 17 saves for Vancouver
